First Ultrasound

Riddled with nervousness and excitement, I think I was expecting to see a face to go with the name. Early on, you barely see anything. You have to try to squint through a black and white picture and pretend you know what you’re seeing. She said the baby had a healthy heartbeat so that was pretty cool. It’s pretty neat to know that you half-created something with a beating heart :). At about 6 weeks, the baby’s legs and arms start sprouting and even the mouth, eyes, and ears start forming, but it’s far from being a finished product.
